The ESS Help compiler is simple to use environment for organizing a help system from existing HTML or Text files.

The ESS Help compiler does not create Windows HTML help files, but rather uses an open source format that is read and displayed in the ESS Help Viewer. The ESS Help Viewer can be freely distribute with your application without cost or royalties.

The ESS Help Viewer is a full feature HTML compliant software used to read and display your help files. Its features include:

• Legend display.
• Index tab with the index entries grouped by starting letter and category.
• Full feature search tab.
• History list.
• BMP and JPEG image support (no GIF support as there is no desire here to pay royalties to Unisys -- we will wait to see about JPEG royalties case). PNG Support upon request.
• Print single topics, category groups, or the entire help file (allows users to make their own printed manuals from your help system).
• Included Delphi component for interactions with your software and the ESS Help Viewer.
