Misconceptions about Custom Designed Software :

There are many misconceptions about custom software. Most of this comes from individuals or agencies that try to create their software from scratch rather than contracting out to experienced programmers. This leads to months, sometimes years of duplicate effort and vastly inflates the ultimate cost. Below are a few comments that are wildly used, but often false.

1. We have a technical services branch. They can create custom software for us.
   
   
2. We have never used custom software and we get along just fine.
   
   
3. It will cost too much.
