Custom Software Design : Contract Software Agreement

Contract projects are usually for larger, more comprehensive software developments where there is a moderate to substantial financial commitment from the client to have the software developed.  The client may also wish to own the copyright of the completed software product.  Levels of copyright ownership vary between project and as agreed upon by the client and Ecological Software Solutions LLC. 

With ownership of the software product the client is usually given the right to use, copy and distribute the completed software product as desired.  Custom software or software components distributed by the client to members of the client's staff or associates to conduct normal business or analysis of data usually incurs no additional fees.  Sale by the client of custom software written by Ecological Software Solutions LLC may require a royalty payment to Ecological Software Solutions LLC, depending on the contract type.
