You can use the "About" window in any program to access an e-mail link that will send an e-mail from your desktop using your default mail program

1. Go to the main menu of the program and select the "Help" Item and click on it.

2. Select the "About <software name>" option in the Help menu (image below).

3. You should see a Window such as the one in the image below. You can click on any e-mail link provided to open your default mail program with the ESS e-mail address you selected pre-filled into your e-mail's "To" address.
